Rainbow Padded Water Pipe Bag!

So this turned out amazingly!  When I started this it was going to have a zipper and be an open drawstring with a shoulder strap and the works, but after I got about 3/4 of the way done I realized that the color pattern with switching back and forth to leave the slot open for the zipper was making the yarn do funny things, so I took it apart, redid it as a solid slide in type "pouch" with the full padding, drawstring and satin lining instead.  I love the way the rainbow swirls up the side of the bag.  I chose the maroon/deep red lining because it will hide dirt the best and also it matched really well.  It comes with a matching stem pouch that is shown attached by the drawstring but you can remove it if you would rather not have them together.  (The smaller matching pouch is not lined)  This is going to be on display for sale at the Santa Clara Smoke Shop Inc on River Road in Eugene if you are interested in taking a look in person.  I also do custom work, if you have a special piece that you haven't found the "perfect" case for, let me know what you are looking for and I can make it for you!  Local deals come with no shipping.  Check out my shop!

I am trying to show my husband that having a blog about yarn isn't a bad thing.  I have dedicated this site to the art of crochet.  I love it, it has consumed most of my adult life and I have learned many things about myself thru crochet.  I have learned that I can be patient and thru that patience I can create beautiful things.  My hats are my pride of course, but because of the mad obsession with the crochet pouches I've been making lately I have been trying to focus on that more.  There are so many people who make hats in this world, but not many who make quality crochet bags and pouches for custom glass pieces.  So that is going to by my niche.  These are my newest creations.  Check them out!
